We are here since September 2007, the time when PandoraMU was created, always improving and doing our best to provide our players with a decent quality experience and the best fun a private server can offer. All these years our server has been continuously improving starting from small text errors and up to complex programming for both server and client. We can proudly say, based on our experience and on players testimonials, that we are currently the most bugfree and advanced server existing, unlike other servers our software is entirely written from scratch therefor we can fix and optimize everything we need, when we need.

However we do not claim to be the best (since best may have a different 'standard' for every of us) nor the most secure (even if our anti-cheat is far more superior than others) neither the most performant (even if everything we run is fully up-to-date, performance and security tinkered) there is plenty of space for better, I always had moments when I said "there can't be anything more to do, this is the limit", guess what? That was in 2009 and there was a lot of stuff that had to be done since then.

Now maybe the most important one, ever wondered why was PandoraMU created? Well unlike 90% of other private servers, it's not a server I created to pay my bills, back in 2006 I was a MU freak (like everyone else here), since then I started to have interest how stuff actually works so in one year I learned enough to be able to start a decent server that initially had 20 ~ 50 players online. For more than one year PandoraMU was hosted on my own computer and we didn't even had donations available for some months, I didn't knew what PayPal is, but time passed and the baby has grown, and it was time to do something.
Then it happened, thanks to one of our former players called "Death", [MM]Pain and other supporters, we have managed to rent our first dedicated server which was able to hold 150 players online without lagging.

Long-story short, a lot of things, good and bad ones happened until the present day that made PandoraMU what it is, what it doesn't kill you makes you stronger? Even some (not all) hackers loved us, and used their knowledge to help us secure our server instead of destroying it.

Now the current server is the 'supreme' result of everything I have learned and with all ideas I wanted to apply along with a fresh database, which as you can see, is very successful.
